Houston, TX — May 18, 2026 | Altillion has validated the performance of its IRIS platform across oilfield produced water from three distinct basins, confirming both consistent iodine recovery and product quality on oilfield produced water brines with widely varying chemistries and iodine concentrations.

Taken together, the programs demonstrate that Altillion’s technology is not limited to a single brine resource. The same IRIS platform recovered iodine — and met product-quality benchmarks — across many feedstocks from the Permian in West Texas, the Haynesville in East Texas, and the Anadarko in Oklahoma.  These brines differ widely in salinity, contaminant composition, and iodine concentration, all of which provide significant challenges for traditional iodine recovery techniques.

That breadth of applicability is central to Altillion’s commercial thesis. Because produced water and iodine concentrations vary by region, a platform that performs across all of them can be deployed wherever the resource is, rather than being confined to a single play.

“Proving recovery and quality across three very different basins is exactly the milestone that turns a promising process into a deployable platform,” said Jay Keener, CEO of Altillion. “It tells our partners that what works on their brine isn’t a special case — it’s how the technology is built to perform.”
